Hello researchers, I am Divyansh Mishra. I hold an MSc in Chemistry from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal. Today's world is facing catastrophic events due to global warming and the burden of overpopulation: every day our lifestyle affects the environment, driving rising temperatures and more disastrous weather events. Motivated to do impactful work that can help save our Earth and nature, I work on sustainable energy conversion and storage, currently as a Project Associate in the SWACHH Lab at IIT Kanpur.
My research interests span heterogeneous catalysis, biomass valorisation, C1 conversion, carbon capture and utilisation, and molecular chemistry and photophysics. My lab routines involve synthesising nanomaterials that can perform chemistries with greenhouse gases and convert them into more valuable products, and establishing structure-activity relationships to enhance catalytic activity. I am always curious to learn new techniques, concepts, and skills that make me better as a person and a researcher. Outside the lab, I enjoy playing badminton, philosophy, and fruitful debates.
