Focus: Power-to-fuel conversion for waste management

Hi everyone! I am Sayan Das, a Project Assistant in Dr. Sayan Kar's research group at IIT Kanpur. My research focuses on designing and synthesizing electrocatalytic materials, fabricating electrodes, and investigating their performance for water splitting and biomass electrooxidation. My interest in this field comes from the potential of electrochemistry to address clean energy and sustainability challenges.

On a day-to-day basis, I synthesize and characterize electrocatalytic materials, fabricate electrodes, and evaluate their electrochemical performance. Outside the lab, I enjoy playing badminton and am always excited to learn new techniques that can help advance sustainable energy research.
